Delete your Ponder account
Ponder, the evening journal by Yuvraj, lets you delete your account and journal at any time, from the app or by email.
In the app
- Open Ponder and go to Settings.
- Under Account, choose Delete my account and journal.
- Confirm. It takes up to a minute.
Your account and everything our server holds for it are deleted at once, and the phone is cleared.
By email, if you can't open the app
Write to support@yuviatic.com from the Google account you signed in to Ponder with, and ask us to delete your account. We'll delete it within 30 days and reply when it's done.
If you never signed in, nothing on our server links your account to you, so we can't tell which one is yours. What it holds can't be read without your phone's key, by anyone, including us.
What's deleted
- Your account, and the email and name kept if you signed in with Google.
- The sealed copy of your journal, and your sealed key.
- Your name in Ponder, your companions and what they wear and own.
- Buddy: your pairing, and the scores you shared.
- Your phone's notification token.
- On the phone: your days and your voice notes.
What's kept
- Records that a question was written, how long it took and what it cost, with nothing linking them to you. They never held your words.
- Usage events and crash reports, kept by PostHog and Sentry for their own retention periods.
More on how Ponder handles your data is in the privacy policy.
